Pick a Paths

We learnt how to make Pick a Path Slides.

We have been reading some of Shakespeare’s plays and have made a pick a path quiz based on these. We didn’t worry about the formatting features at this point in time as our focus was on learning the techniques of making links, and finding and fixing bugs.

Cameron’s Pick a Path on Romeo and Juliet is included in this post. Have you made these before? Any tips for us as we make more?

All About Me Blog Profile

This week we started creating our individual Blog Profiles.

Our blog profiles need to include:

  • a ‘professional’ photo
  • information about who we are (our name, Year level, class and/or school)
  • information about what we like to do and/or learn about

We also want to make them visually appealing and easy to read. This means that the colours work well, and the images and backgrounds didn’t overpower our photo and information.

What tips do you have to make them look good?

Next week we will be finishing them off. Check back for some links to see them then!

About us!

We’re St Maximilian Kolbe (named after a Saint), a Year 7 & 8 class from Saint Joseph’s Catholic School, Levin. Our school is located in the lower North Island of New Zealand.  Our teacher  is known as Mr Praat, he has very high expectations for us in many different subjects such as reading, math, writing, etc. He likes sports and games, he has a good heart. His pretty cool, we all mess around with him and we joke around.

In St Max, we have a variety of stuff that we like to enjoy. Most of our class likes games, whether they’re inside or out. Most people’s favourite sport is longball or baseball. We learn about the basic subjects such as math, writing, etc. We like reading both nonfiction and fiction texts. We do lot of fun with the things Mr Praat comes up with.

We look forward to posting more things for you to read.
